Ghost Hunt at The Old Linacre Pub, Bootle

As a community hub, it plays a vital role in local social life and was proudly adorned with Higsons Brewery livery, featuring the iconic "liver bird and hop leaf" design—a nod to Merseyside’s brewing heritage. Though it eventually closed, the building has found new life as a vibrant community center. 

Few would suspect the building’s hidden past. Originally designed with two cellars stacked one atop the other, the lower section ran alongside the canal while the upper connected to Linacre Lane. Canal workers frequented the lower pub, while a separate clientele gathered above. These layers of history have left a ghostly imprint.

You will take part in seances, vigils, and experiments, to communicate with the restless souls that haunt this place.
